5 Exercises for a Firm Butt

A shapely butt is a sought-after wonder. Every woman wants a nice firm butt like those of J. Lo and Beyonce. However, the butt area is a problem area for most women as this carries a huge amount of fat deposits during a woman’s childbearing years. Actually, you don’t have to undergo a butt augmentation to own a firm, beautiful butt. These fat cells do not dissolve by themselves but women can perform some effective exercise routines to trim and tone their gluteus maximus!

The Squat

One of the best exercises to strengthen, shape and tone your thighs and butt is squat. It will not just tone and tighten your butt but it is also a great exercise if you want to build lean quality muscles!

To execute, simply stand and hold a barbell that’s resting from side to side of your shoulders and traps, your hands should be wider and shoulder-width apart. Shoulders should be slightly pulled back, lower-back muscles contracted, take a deep breath and then hold it. Look straight, at the same time slowly bending your knees, incline the torso slightly forward and go down with control until the thighs are parallel to the ground. When at the bottom, don’t bounce and also don’t stop. Drive yourself up by pushing through your heels, while strongly contracting the muscles of the buttocks and exhaling when passing halfway. Take a deep breath and then repeat.
